The Canadian Automated Vehicle Initiative (CAVI) is an association for all stakeholders in any aspect of the Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) ecosystem in Canada. We are pleased to offer a series of webinars exploring the opportunities, challenges and trends in CAVs. Join us to gain insights into the future of transportation and innovation in Canada!
The first webinar will be on "The ever-expanding use of autonomous vehicles". The webinar will describe the many use cases of this technology including small public and private robots, passenger and freight transportation, service vehicles, heavy haulers in mining, and everything in between.
The webinar will be useful to those in industry, government, and academia who want to better understand the full scope of the CAV revolution, as well as members of the public who are interested in how transportation will change in the future. The webinar will also be of interest to people outside Canada, although the examples will be primarily Canadian. The focus will be on the many uses of autonomous vehicles and not the technical details.
We are pleased to announce that the speaker will be Andrew Miller with Paladin Consulting, a well-known CAV consultant and speaker. The moderator will be Tenille Houston, a seasoned executive with experience on the TEDx stage who is also an expert in autonomous vehicles.
The webinar is on Wednesday November 20, 2024 at 11:00-11:45am EST. There is no charge, but we ask that attendees register here.
Please join us on November 20th and see the future.
